When can I withdraw my money?

Withdrawing from your Zopa savings account or Cash ISA will depend on the type of pot you have. Here’s everything you need to know.

Savings:

Easy Access and Regular Saver pots:

  • You can withdraw your money anytime.

  • Withdrawals normally take less than 10 minutes, but can take up to 2 hours.

Notice pots:

  • You’ll need to give us notice before you can withdraw your money. The notice will either be 7, 31 or 95 days, depending on the type of Notice pot you have.

  • Once this notice period ends, your money will move to an Easy Access pot and you’ll be able to withdraw your money anytime.

  • Please note, you can’t access your money early, not even for a fee.

Fixed Term pots:

  • Once the term on your Fixed Term pot has ended, it'll automatically become an Easy Access pot, which you can withdraw from at any time.

  • It's not possible to withdraw from your Fixed Term pot before the term has ended, not even for a fee.

Cash ISA:

Easy Access ISA pots:

  • You can withdraw your money anytime.

  • Withdrawals normally take less than 10 minutes, but can take up to 2 hours.

Fixed Term ISA pots:

  • Once the fixed term on your Fixed Term ISA pot has ended, it'll automatically turn into an Easy Access ISA pot, which you can withdraw from at any time.

  • If you want to access the money in your Fixed Term ISA early, you can do this by breaking the fixed term and paying an interest charge. You can then either withdraw the full balance to your linked bank account or move it to an Easy Access ISA pot, where it’ll earn a variable interest rate.
