How do I close my savings account?

1. Open the Zopa app and head to the ‘Save & Invest’ tab.
2. Tap the three dots next to ‘Withdraw’.
3. Tap ‘Close account’ and choose the account you’d like to close. If you have money left in your account, you’ll be prompted to withdraw it first.
If you have any active Notice or Fixed Term pots, you won’t be able to close your account just yet. For Notice pots, you'll need to give notice and withdraw your savings before following the steps above. For Fixed Term pots, you'll need to wait for the term on your Fixed Term pots to end before closing your account.
If you have a Cash ISA, you'll need to close that before you can close your savings account.
Just so you know, this process only closes your savings account – not your Zopa account. Your Zopa log-in details and marketing preferences won’t be affected. If you have another Zopa product, like a personal loan, this won’t be affected either.
